Paige Thurston grew up on Vancouver Island on the Traditional Territory of the K’ómoks First Nation and moved to the West Kootenay in 2015.

Paige has completed the Forest Technology program at Selkirk College, and earned a B.Sc. in Environmental Science at Royal Roads University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Natural Resources through the University of Idaho with a focus on Restoration Ecology and Habitat Management.

Prior to managing the Columbia Basin Water Monitoring Framework program, Paige acted as the Database and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Columbia Basin Water Hub during its first year of operations.
