Georgia grew up in Southern Ontario and was raised by a family of biologists. She developed a love for wildlife, conservation, and education through a childhood of travelling, reading, and exploring the environment around her. While working in the tech start-up industry, Georgia travelled throughout British Columbia and fell in love with the beautiful surroundings and abundant biodiversity. This resulted in a full-time move to Golden, BC where she enjoys hiking with her dog and taking advantage of the endless outdoor activities.

Georgia graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017. Georgia strives to incorporate outreach and education in everything she does to ignite passion in others. In addition to her Program Coordinator role for Living Lakes Canada, Georgia is the Program Coordinator for the Columbia Lake Stewardship Society and is leading projects in community outreach, wildlife monitoring and water quality monitoring.
