Selkirk College Hydrology Lab

In partnership with Selkirk College, Living Lakes Canada will lead a lab session for second-year hydrology students in the Applied Environmental Science and Planning Technology diploma program. The demonstration will teach students how to measure water velocity and discharge in rivers and streams using the Sontek FlowTracker 2.

The session includes an in-class demonstration of Aquarius software, followed by a field demonstration at Anderson Creek near Nelson, B.C. This hands-on learning experience will equip students with practical skills in streamflow measurement using industry-standard equipment.
