Living Lakes Canada Begins Search for New Executive Director
Founder and long-time executive director, Kat Hartwig, to transition to strategic adviser role
Living Lakes Canada is entering an exciting new era with our valued partners and funders. Kat Hartwig, our founder and executive director for the last 25 years, has decided the time has come to transition the reins of the organization to new hands. As a team, we are excited for Kat’s renewed association with Living Lakes; she will remain a key strategic adviser and founder “emeritus” to support a successful succession and further fundraising opportunities for our projects. While Kat’s role will shift, her commitment to, and passion for, Living Lakes Canada will not waver.

Living Lakes Canada has an exceptionally talented team of operational and seasoned program managers who will continue to deliver value through our core projects. As we progress through the search for a new executive director, all projects will continue seamlessly under the guidance of our leadership team and deputy director Andy Miller, who will act as interim executive director.
