Classroom to Communities (C2C) 2022 Provincial Conference: National Lake Blitz Workshop

On behalf of the National Lake Blitz program, Living Lakes Canada Program Manager Georgia Peck will be hosting a 3 hour workshop during the second day of the two-day C2C 2022 Provincial Conference. This workshop will cover topics of water stewardship and how to integrate monitoring efforts into schools and student field trips. Georgia will be joined by a teacher from Maple Ridge, B.C. who has been successfully planning water monitoring efforts for her students for a number of years. A hands-on demonstration of various water monitoring techniques will be held and up to 40 educator participants will be joining to learn these techniques and better understand the logistics around integrating water stewardship into classroom environments.
