World Water Monitoring Day 2020

Normalizing science-based water monitoring and stewardship is the driving force behind Living Lakes Canada’s water programs

Living Lakes Canada was one of the first NGOs in Canada certified by the federal government to train Indigenous and non-Indigenous community groups to monitor the health of their waterways using the federal water monitoring protocols. Our water monitoring programs allow for a wide range of citizen scientists and environmental professionals to be equipped to track important information regarding watershed health and thereby increasing opportunity to build and apply climate resiliency at the community level.

We thank all the incredible water stewards we’ve trained and worked with over the years. Together we’re making a difference.
