Emily grew up across Ontario, New Brunswick, and Alberta where she developed a love for the outdoors and an appreciation of Canada’s diverse ecosystems. She received her B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary and holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University. Over the past five years, Emily’s gained experience delivering environmental programs to students and honing her communication skills within the environmental non-profit sector and academia.

Emily currently lives in Canmore, Alberta where she enjoys exploring the mountains on her skis, mountain bike and paddleboard.

Emily is excited to join the Living Lakes Canada team and support the communication team as Outreach and Communications Coordinator.
