Water & Environment Gathering: Celebrating our Indigenous Guardians

Hosted by Matawa First Nations and Four Rivers, the Water & Environment Gathering: Celebrating our Indigenous Guardians is a 3-day event, held at Fort William Historical Park.

Day 1 will focus more on ceremony in the morning, and the afternoon will feature keynote presentations from Maori guests from New Zealand.

Day 2 and 3 will have a series of workshops, including a biomonitoring workshop led by Living Lakes Canada.

This gathering is an opportunity to share knowledge and learn from each other about water relationships, values and perspectives and facilitate relationship-building.
