Living Lakes Canada, UBC Sustainability Scholars, and the Upper Nicola Band are working together to develop a FIMP-Local Indigenous Framework for Nicola Lake.
The Sustainability Scholars and Living Lakes Canada’s Foreshore Integrated Management Planning (FIMP) project team will be meeting with Brian Holms of the Upper Nicola Band for a day on Nicola Lake. We will discuss the archeological and cultural values of the foreshore as well provide a demonstration of FIMP data collection and fieldwork.
