abstractThe following draft recommendations for the Government of Canada aim to advance more strategic and sustained federal support for CBWM. These recommendations, developed collaboratively with diverse experts, including individuals with practical experience carrying out both Indigenous and non-Indigenous CBWM programs, were intended as a starting point for discussion at the National Roundtable on Community Based Water Monitoring held in Ottawa on November 27 and 28, 2018. The aim of the roundtable was to revise, modify, add to, or remove from these recommendations based on the input of participants and outcomes of the collaborative discussion.
