Biodiversity in BC: Future Visions and Novel Solutions

As part of Genome BC’s Biodiversity in BC: Future Visions and Novel Solutions Ideas Lab taking place in Vancouver from March 31-April 2, 2025, Living Lakes Canada Lakes Program Manager Georgia Peck is helping open this multi-day workshop with a virtual presentation on “Aligning Western Science and Indigenous Knowledge for Freshwater Biodiversity Conservation,” featuring Living Lakes’ collaborative work with the Upper Nicola Band co-developing the Local Indigenous Knowledge & Values Framework.
