Location: Burnaby Lake Regional Park, Burnaby, BC, B.C./C.-B.“Bathing Bird”: Every year migratory birds come to Burnaby Lake from Spring to Summer. It has been a place where I have gone to many times and simply enjoyed being there listening to all kinds of birds. Mostly, water lilies offer protection to birds and their young from rodents and from the heat too. I was able to catch this one in action as she was cooling herself.
