Location: Chatham Kent Region, Rondeau Provincial Park, Morpeth, Ontario, Ont./Ont.Lake Erie Shoreline beside the grasslands off of the South Point East Trail. In late fall the grasses turn a bright rusty orange. The sand, heavy with iron deposits on this stretch of beach are dark red and black, especially after a rainstorm when the colours are more saturated. Photo taken in early March, 2024. The colours in this photo are accurate.
