Knowing Water Public Symposium

What do you know about the water you drink and play in? Join us for an evening of learning and knowledge sharing.

In an effort to continue engaging the Elk Valley community in understanding watershed health, the Monitoring Collaborative is planning a Symposium featuring speakers from our partners.

The goal is to familiarise the community with the work of our partners, present different ways of understanding the watershed, and feature the collaborative as a cohesive effort to feeling the pulse of the river.

Living Lakes Canada will deliver a presentation about the power of open data and its relevance to freshwater management, along with a look into how our Columbia Basin Water Hub is an example of open data in the basin.
