A field survey led by Ecora Engineering and Resource Group ltd. will be coordinated on Nicola Lake.
This survey will follow the FIMP protocol and will include participation from Upper Nicola Band. Cultural and archaeological overview assessments for Nicola Lake will be completed following the field survey.
This project is field-testing the Local Indigenous Knowledge and Values Framework, co-developed by UNB and LLC in the winter of 2023.
