Yukon Lakes Monitoring Overview Meetings

This is an exploratory project initiated by the Water Resource Branch, Department of Environment, Government of Yukon, in collaboration with Living Lakes Canada.

The Yukon Lakes Monitoring Overview project objective is to understand the current lake monitoring landscape in the Yukon and enable future partnerships and collaborations in order to develop a coordinated approach to lake monitoring in the Yukon. That is being achieved through in-person meetings between the project team and Yukon’s interested stakeholders and rights holders to discuss and share lake priorities, values and concerns. The project team will connect with local NGOs, various levels of government (provincial, municipal, First Nations), and academia.
