Grace grew up in San Diego, California, where she spent her time hiking coastal trails, swimming in the Pacific, and skiing in the Sierras. These early experiences sparked a deep and lasting connection to the environment that has only grown stronger over time.

She has a B.S.c. in Natural Resources Conservation from the University of British Columbia, where she built a foundational understanding of forest ecology and anthropogenic environmental pressures.

Grace moved to the Kootenays to be closer to the mountains and to spend more time doing what she loves most— hiking, biking, and skiing. Grace is excited to contribute to Living Lakes’ continued efforts to support our watersheds through her position as Water Monitoring Coordinator for the Columbia Basin Water Monitoring Framework.
