Georgia grew up in Southern Ontario and was raised by a family of biologists. She developed a love for wildlife, conservation, and education through a childhood of travelling, and exploring the environment around her. While working in the tech start-up industry, Georgia travelled throughout British Columbia and fell in love with the beautiful surroundings and abundant biodiversity. This resulted in a full-time move to the Columbia Basin where she enjoys hiking with her dog and taking advantage of the endless outdoor activities.

Georgia graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017. With experience in outreach, education, and managing local stewardship organizations, Georgia strives to involve local communities in environmental conservation. As the Lakes Program Manager, Georgia coordinates and oversees the Foreshore Integrated Management Planning (FIMP) project in the Columbia Basin and is developing project expansions throughout B.C. and into other provinces
