Living Lakes Canada is an award-winning NGO that facilitates collaboration in monitoring, restoration, and policy development initiatives for the long-term protection of Canada’s lakes, rivers, wetlands and watersheds impacted by climate risk.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for progressive thinkers with diverse voices, backgrounds and perspectives who are keen to contribute their expertise and knowledge to the growth and strategic direction of our water stewardship non-profit.
Board members with experience in the following areas are invited to apply:
- Strategic planning
- Financial acumen
- Sustainable fundraising
- Indigenous culture and community
- Watershed security
- Political acumen
- Human resources
- Legal expertise
Time Commitment and Responsibilities
- This is a volunteer commitment that involves attending quarterly meetings and sitting on sub-committees as needed.
- Board Members serve a minimum two-year term.
- Board members can live anywhere in Canada.
