Genevieve grew up in the small ski town of Stowe, Vermont, where she developed a deep love for the mountains and snow through her early involvement in the ski and snowboard industry. This passion for the outdoors led her to Vancouver, where she pursued a degree in Cognitive Systems and embarked on a career in neurogenetic research.

Seeking a change, Genevieve took a break from science to explore her creativity as a baker and miller, specializing in sourdough. Her love for the mountains and a desire to contribute to environmental conservation drew her to Nelson, B.C. There, she earned a diploma in Geographic Information Systems from Selkirk College.

Genevieve is dedicated to using her analytical skills and scientific background to protect and preserve the natural environments she cherishes.
