Living Lakes Canada and the Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society will be hosting a community stream cleanup along Cottonwood Creek as part of this year’s BC Rivers Day celebrations. Thank you to the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC for your 45 years of advocacy, and for bringing us together to appreciate our streams and rivers.
In support of our Cottonwood Creek Revival Project, this event brings the community together to care for one of Nelson’s most iconic creeks. Some supplies, including buckets, trash pickers, gloves, and bags, will be provided but quantities are limited so please bring your own if possible. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
