Shevon grew up along the shores of Anderson Lake in Saskatchewan allowing her to spend hours collecting aquatic creatures, developing an interest in bird watching, and learning how to swim and paddle. Shevon brings her sales and marketing experience from tourism, hospitality and international teaching to Living Lakes Canada. Often found hiking a trail, paddling a kayak or skiing a slope, Shevon values her time spent outdoors. While living and working overseas Shevon had many opportunities to travel through Asia. She visited many countries that struggle to offer fresh drinking water to their citizens. Shevon also experienced the horror of swimming in a plastic mass of garbage in the Indian ocean. This led to a personal interest in water and water conservation. Shevon hopes to share her firsthand experiences to educate and inspire others to become a steward for freshwater in Canada.
