VOLUNTEER YOUR GROUNDWATER WELL

Groundwater stewardship is central to community water sustainability. Groundwater is an important water supply for people and irrigation. It is also important for maintaining water levels in rivers and lakes, vital for healthy ecosystems.

Living Lakes Canada manages a Groundwater Monitoring Program to track groundwater levels in the Upper Columbia Basin in B.C. If you would like to volunteer a well that is not actively pumped for monitoring, contact our Groundwater Program at groundwater@livinglakescanada.ca.

Our team will work with you to determine if your well is suitable for monitoring groundwater levels.
