Living Lakes Canada is bringing youth, seniors, and community members together at McGinty Lake near Kimberley, B.C., for an afternoon of hands-on freshwater learning.
Joined by the East Kootenay Invasive Species Council (EKISC), Wildsight, and the Rocky Mountain Naturalists, participants will take part in interactive activities focused on freshwater ecosystems, biodiversity, aquatic invasive species, water quality, and local stewardship.
This event is designed to encourage intergenerational learning, community connection, and a shared appreciation for the importance of caring for local freshwater.
