Location: Springville, N.S./N.-É.We have lived on the shore of this tiny lake since 1981, and never tire of its beauty and the up close and personal encounters with nature it provides.
We are especially thrilled with the nesting pair of loons, also the ducks, the peepers, beavers, otters, American Bittern along with other birds, and the dragon flies. We have observed deer enjoying a drink at waters edge and on occasion a black bear enjoying a swim!
The lake is spring fed so we enjoy swimming from May till October. In winter we snow shoe almost daily on its frozen surface and enjoy seeing various wildlife tracks.
We are proud of this little piece of paradise and aim to be good stewards so it can be enjoyed for future generations.
