abstractOver the last several decades there have been significant changes in who is monitoring what freshwater quality and quantity indicators and where. These changes, along with the recent implementation of the Water Sustainability Act in British Columbia in 2016, provide an opportune time for inclusive discussions on water monitoring and reporting. In 2017, members of the BC Water Funders Collaborative’s Working Group on Water Monitoring commissioned a Water Monitoring Landscape Scan to inform discussions on a shared vision for water monitoring and reporting in British Columbia.
