Had a chance to witness last year’s total solar eclipse from the shores of Lake Erie in Crystal Beach, where my sister was renting a place while her house underwent renovations. The path of the eclipse was going to pass right over the region, but unfortunately the clouds had a different idea. Didn’t get to see the eclipse, but did experience the total darkness that happened at the eclipse’s apex. This photo is taken midday, but looks more like 10 o’clock at night.
