Team | Lakes Program Assistant
Sally was born and raised in Rossland, B.C. where she developed a love for the outdoors through skiing, hiking, and climbing. Growing up in the West Kootenays fostered Sally's appreciation for the natural landscape and influenced her interest in environmental conservation.
Sally just completed her B.Sc. in Environmental Chemistry from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. During her time at UBCO Sally was an executive director of her course union where she organized field schools, helped foster interest in the program, and planned career nights and study sessions. Sally is passionate about effective scientific communication and community participation which is what interested her in a position with Living Lakes Canada.
