Sally was born and raised in Rossland, B.C. where she developed a love for the outdoors through skiing, hiking, and climbing. Growing up in the West Kootenays, fostered Sally's appreciation for the natural landscape and influenced her interest in environmental conservation.

After completing a B.Sc. in Environmental Chemistry from the University of British Columbia Okanagan, Sally’s passion for community stewardship, coupled with her strong scientific background, led her to the position of Lakes Program Coordinator with Living Lakes. Sally is excited to apply her diverse skills and knowledge in working towards protecting Canada’s freshwater as part of the Lakes team.
