Kyle Prince grew up west of Grande Prairie, Alberta on several small farms and was always lucky enough to have a creek or river as his backyard. This gave him the opportunity to explore nature at a young age, often, and with ease. The accessible outdoors paired with his dad’s passion for his career in Forestry and Environmental Consulting made Kyle realize early on that he too wanted to work in environment.
Kyle completed his B.Sc. at the University of Alberta in the Environmental and Conservation Sciences program in April 2014. Since then he has worked for the Alberta Conservation Association on a variety of wildlife projects working with pheasants, grizzly bears, and wolverines. He recently moved to Nelson, B.C. to realize his dream of living in a mountain town. As an adult he continues to explore the outdoors, often with skis on his feet or a fishing rod in hand. He is excited to be working with Living Lakes Canada to promote environmental stewardship programs and community based monitoring in watersheds across B.C.
