Jordan grew up in Southern Ontario where she had the opportunity to spend time sailing, swimming and paddling on the Great Lakes and the many beautiful waterways that surround them. Jordan holds a B.Sc. in Earth and Ocean Science from Dalhousie University and a M.Sc. in Planetary Science and Geology from Western University. A love of marine science and the coast has led her to Vancouver Island to work in marine conservation and seaweed cultivation.
An overall passion for water, biodiversity, stewardship, aquatic life and education has made for exciting experiences working with non-profit organizations and small coastal businesses to strengthen the links between healthy ecosystems and healthy communities. Jordan supports the Development Team in fundraising for projects and working to develop new opportunities for Living Lakes Canada to grow and collaborate with communities.
