National Freshwater Data Startegy Workshop

The Canada Water Agency (CWA) is committed to developing a National Freshwater Data Strategy in collaboration with partners and stakeholders. The Strategy will include principles for data management to improve the discoverability, accessibility, and usability of freshwater data in Canada.

This, in turn, will help inform freshwater decision-making and enhance understanding. As a first step, the CWA is hosting a workshop with data collectors, creators, owners, and users to establish an outline for the strategy and a path forward.

As an award-winning NGO with over two decades of experience in water science and stewardship, Living Lakes Canada will attend to lend our expertise and help guide steps toward watershed security.
